The Amalfi Coast boasts some of the greatest hiking trails. The most famous is the Sentiero delgi Dei– Gods’ Pathway. The trail winds over the picturesque coastline, on the high, rocky hillside. It’s 7 km long and it takes about 2-3 hours to complete. The most challenging part of it is the 1700 stairs from Nocelle to Arienzo. If you are planning to do this walk, it’s worth to set off early in the morning. Valle delle Ferriere
If you’re a nature lover, don’t miss visiting the Valle delle Ferriere. It’s a unique place that you can easily reach by an hours walk. The gardens of Villa Rufolo and Villa Cimbrone
Ravello is the pearl of the Amalfi Coast. Two of its main attractions are the Villa Rufolo and Villa Cimbrone, both of which are surrounded by stunning gardens. In Villa Rufolo’s garden, you can admire palm trees, oleanders and romantic little harbours. The villa was built by a wealthy trading family in the 13th century. Owing to its lush gardens, the Moorish architecture and its inspiring scenery it’s often referred to as the smaller version of the famous Alhambra in Spain.
In Villa Cimbrone’s you can spot some wonderful flowers. At the end of its garden is to be found the so-called Terrazza dell’Infinito– the Terrace of Infinity offering a breathtaking view over the Amalfi Coast. The ledge is embellished with the busts of Greek mythological figures.

One of the most picturesque parts of Italy, the Amalfi Coast boasts several activities. St. Andrew is the Patron Saint of Amalfi town as well as the protector of fishermen and sailors. The Apostle’s relics are kept in the crypt under the Cathedral, and there’s a festival dedicated to him that takes place twice annually: 27th June, 30th November.
Another famous event of Amalfi is the Regatta, a boat parade, the fest of the Ancient Maritime Republics. In accordance with the traditions, before the event, there’s a parade of citizens wearing authentic clothes with the leaders of their democracies on the front. Every group holds a stage performance presenting the most significant historical events of their democracy. Traditionally the parade is led by the Venetians followed by the Genoese then the Pisan and last but not least the people of Amalfi.
Festivals in Ravello
Ravello is one of the most important settlements of the Amalfi Coast. It’s also often referred to as the ‘City of Music’, thanks to the annual Wagner Festival that is held here. The first one occurred in 1932, modelled on the Maggio Musicale festival in Florence. The festival takes place in the Villa Rufolo Garden where a temporary stage is being placed every summer for that matter.
In the tiny fishing village of Cetara, you can visit the Tuna Festival that takes place annually around July or August. Cetara is home to one of the largest fishing fleets of tuna of the Adriatic Sea. 
Nightlife
Are you after some fun and entertainment? Owing to its vibrant nightlife Positano is one of the best choices. You can choose from a wide range of excellent cocktails and wines in the Fly Lounge Bar, on top of the famous Rada Restaurant. If you are here, make sure to try their sushi served in Mediterranean style. The outdoor terrace with a view and the background music make the bar especially atmospheric.
Another fascinating spot of Positano is the Music on the Rocks. The interesting thing about it is that it has been carved into a cliff and turned into a unique club.
